Let me just say that this was a recommendation from Sav and I think she nailed it on this one. Sav and I adore Dom by SJ Tilly so when it gave massive Dom vibes, I knew I would be alright. I’m talking in the first few chapters we were already seeing the same vibe. Yo girl Sav came through with her recommendation and I cannot thank her enough for it. 

Let me start with saying this is not my first Shain Rose book and it will surely not be my last. Shain is the author that continues to pop up randomly for myself and I love every time I read one of her books. I can not for the life of me remember what else I have read by her but I just remember loving her writing style. To which may sound so simple but thats what I love about authors. Some have the ability to have my attention because of how they write. Its like a warm blanket on a cold day. It’s like feeling the sun on my skin at the beach. They just vibe well with me and I know I will love the book off the writing style alone. So lets get into it.

Once again, I forgot the names. I’m sorry y’all, I really need to write these down. I am noticing this problem. Anywho the FMC is a teacher at Frannie’s school. Thats the MMC’s daughter. For some reason the MMC is taking a bit longer than normal to pick up his daughter from school. That was very unlike him and honestly it was freaking Frannie out. The FMC suggested that they call the MMC to see if he had an ETA for when he would pick her up. But when they make the call they also find out it was no longer safe at school. They run to a safe room and hide until the MMC comes and has them open the door. There is no time to waste, they needed to leave right away. But the FMC tries her hardest to stay behind. That wont work for the MMC. 

Nope, instead the MMC drugs the FMC and takes her with them to their house so she could remain safe but also so she could teach Frannie. Well thats at least what the MMC says he is doing. In reality this man has had the hots for the FMC since the day she started at that school. Oh but don’t worry, same goes for the FMC. But neither were trying to mess up that work relationship until now. Well now they live under the same roof. They work together. They see each other more often. One thing leads to another and I think you can guess what happens from there. 

Sadly this is where I leave you. There are a few small details that if I say anything about them then it will give away the plot. To which as you all know, I want you to read the book first. 

Author Shain Rose definitely had my attention the entire time I was listening to this audiobook. I will definitely be listening to the audio again and soon. I loved the picture I created in my head as I was listening. But can we also say, what in the plot twist?!?! I wasn’t ready for that one at all. I didn’t let myself guess in advance because I wanted to be surprised and boy was their a surprise. I loved it!!!
