“Do not disrespect my woman again… If she says jump, you ask how fucking high, and if you can’t go that high, I’ll throw your sorry ass up.” You know, I didn’t know I needed a quote until I read it and this was the quote. I mean I have heard the first half of it but to finish with “I’ll throw your sorry ass up” I was straight up smirking. Uhh hello, what a fun way to be protective and put someone in their place. Alright Whiskey, I’m here for it!!

Whiskey is a member of his local MC and the co-owner of the MC’s tattoo shop. While at work one day he learned that he was about to become a single father. Completely out of his depths the old ladies rallied around him and one had the perfect nanny recommendation. So he goes the next day to meet Ellery.

Ellery had just finished school and planned to go into some sort of childcare for work but sadly her job had closed down. So she took her time trying to find a new job but also volunteered her time at the local library reading to young kids. It just so happened that some of the old ladies also took their kids to the story time. Hence the fabulous recommendation for Ellery to be the nanny. Whiskey didn’t waste any time and offered her the job but very well knew that this wasn’t just going to be a job. He had plans to make Ellery his old lady.

Over the next few days Whiskey takes Ellery to find the perfect house for his daughter, Ellery and himself to live in. But Ellery didn’t know that she was going to move in with them as well. She thought he wanted the opinion because she would be in the house a lot too. So she gave her opinions and finally he made his move when they found the perfect house.

Now sadly that is as far of the retelling we go as this book is only about 120 pages long. But y’all this is such a delicious read too. It may be part of a series but you do not have to read it in order. I currently am not and I am doing just fine with understanding the characters and layout of the timeline. So don’t fret, jump into this series where you are drawn to because these men are dreamy!

Author Fiona Davenport is becoming one of my favorite authors with novella sized books. I cannot say it enough how I feel like we actually have the entire plot and a substantial sized plot at the same time. We don’t miss any details at all while reading. Well I mean I could bug for more because I’m addicted but in reality, I am just going to go to the next book in this series and enjoy the ride. I had the pleasure to ARC Phoenix in this series but I am so excited to read another book from this world. I’m not sure which man I loved more but either way they are booth swoon worthy men!!!

If you are looking for an MC series that also has a lot of books already written, check this one out! The Iron Rogues are full of protective and possessive men! Exactly what we want!
