If I am looking for a Romcom then I am looking for a book exactly like this. I want the cheesy but yet delicious romance. I want it to be that they fall for each other but there is some random reason as to why they can’t be together at this moment. This definitely checked all the boxes and then some. Oh!! The narrators… ugh I have a love for both of them. So I was sitting very content in my bubble with this romcom the entire time I was listening! 

We start this book off with the Maya graduating college with not a clear direction of where she wanted to go with her career. She was so excited to see where life would take her but at the same time, she didn’t know exactly which way to take those steps. But when her brother, an F1 racer, also gets a deal the same day as her graduation, she starts those steps by following her brother around the world. 

Maya ends up taking up vlogging as a way to pass the time but soon she realizes everyone loves to see the behind the scenes of the F1 world. Soon to get traction with the support of different racers, Maya is starting to really take off in her own lane. But she can’t help but to notice Noah, her brothers team mate, also has been keeping an eye out for her as well. He subtly shows in different ways that he is interested in a relationship with her without actually fully saying it directly. 

Noah really kinda stepped in it when he first met Maya. He accused her of being a one night stand basically. Worst part, he said she was with her own brother. Well little miss Maya wasn’t having that and instantly put him in his place. She was not having his hurtful words at all. Noah definitely needed to hear those words and realized he needed to change and apologise right away. To which he did that and slowly he was gaining the friendship he desired with Maya along the way. But what he didn’t expect was to fall for her at the same time. 

I think this is where I am going to leave off right here because I want to leave the ending for y’all to read or listen to. Now I didn’t go into crazy detail either with this one because thats another thing where, I want you to enjoy the romcom as well. I loved these cute little details. The dates Noah planned. The different jobs that Maya was able to score with her vlog. The work they put into their relationship and truthfully, the crazy ending!! 

Lauren Asher is not new to me at all but this series is. I am totally the person that wants to wait until after the hype is done about a series before I jump on the train too. So this series was going crazy around the time I started back into the reading world. I remember clearly putting it on my TBR because at the time I also didn’t know about dark romance. Here we are about 2-3 years later and I am just now getting to this series. I absolutely loved the start of this series. I cannot wait to continue to audio the rest of these books!! 

If you are a romcom girly then I definitely will be recommending this one to you all! Dark romance girlies, this ones not dark at all. But if you want a nice palate cleanser, this is your read!! 

Alright, I am off to read another romcom. I have more audios to do as well but currently I think I will try to knock out this book I have been eyeing for a little!
