Cassandra Vega…. I need you to watch the CNC of this book review. I had a moment while recording. haha. But excuse me, I was in love with this book and I didn’t want it to end. So that is semi rude that this book ended. Maybe, now hear me out, we just keep having random novellas about these couples!!! I need more Jack in my life. He was a hoot!!

Now before we get into this recap, remember this is a Novella sized book. Not even 100 pages. She is just a baby but its a good baby. So my recap, like usual for novellas will be short and sweet.

Jackie and Hana became friends after they bonded over a life event that should never happen to anyone. From this tragedy, they formed a bond that no one could destroy. They became best of friends and would visit each other twice a year in person. But let’s be real, they were talking all day every day to each other on the phone and in text. They truly formed such a deep friendship.

This time instead of visiting each others houses, they decided to both travel to a neutral location and enjoy a change of scenery. With the snow falling, everyone was stick inside the house instead of taking adventures. This leads to some good times between all of the friends. This also leads to where I already have to stop the recap.

I absolutely enjoyed how this novella showed how important it is to have strong communication in relationships. To see that everyone spoke their minds and kept their core relationships strong, was absolutely beautiful. With what goes on in this book, it is easy to not keep the line of communication open at all times. But these guys do and that was beautiful.

Author Cassandra Vega from the warmest novella I have read in a long time. I absolutely loved watching how everything unfolded even if I had a moment of “don’t tell me this is about to be a dumpster fire.” It wasn’t but boy did it feel like we got close. I literally had to cover my mouth to finish reading this in hopes things weren’t going where my mind was going. Thankfully not, I was dramatic and I am ok with admitting that.

Check the trigger warnings everyone but this was a sweet romcom novella. Now I want a snowy day….
