“She likes to be teased… If you know how to touch her.” One of those lines that you bust up laughing because they were not talking about a lady. Yet at the same time you go “well he knows a thing or two.” I genuinely had to chuckle when reading this little line in the book Kane. There are a few more in this book so if you want random lines that can be taken a few different ways, I recommend picking this book up!! 

If you have read anything from Fiona Davenport, then you will know she already has an MC series out that has around 12 books out. (I personally lost count) Kane is a new MC series that comes from the previous MC series. Essentially they are two different MC’s that actually get along with each other but are in different towns. Also this one’s President is in charge of a racing community as well. To which I actually adored this change up of legal business’s than what is typically used. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good bar business as the legal side. But when you make it something different, at least to myself, then my attention was grabbed. I liked the thought that they had other options for their business opportunities. 

I also like that the MMC and FMC both felt a connection the moment they locked eyes. With Fiona Davenports writing style, the love is typically instant as her books are shorter reads. So its kinda nice that they fall instantly in love but at the same time usually the smut isn’t happening until about 75% of the way through the book. So they may be attracted to each other but that doesn’t mean that they are acting upon that right away. It is a lot of “getting to know you” type relations first. 

This was a bit of a different way to talk about the book and giving it a review but like I said before, this is a shorter book. It was only 123 pages long and y’all know I hate giving away too much information for these shorter reads. I gotta leave something for you to read!!! So I wanted to try a different review style with ya. Not sure we will keep it but we shall see. I know the next few reads will be longer reads so don’t worry, we will have more to chat about. Now to just wait to review as they are ARC’s. 

Author Fiona Davenport really has me excited to see where this next MC journey will take us. I loved being able to read an ARC from her previous MC series but this one is different in all the right ways. I loved that she was able to have two different types of MC books. I will gladly wait for the next book in this series to see what happens as the next MC brother falls. I mean, he’s gonna fall hard for his woman!!!
