A dark mafia romance meets heartbreaking details. This entire book had many twists and turns that took me by surprise. A story that I felt was beautifully written and one that made me ready to read more. I will say I have not read the previous books in this series but I did feel like it was easy to follow along!

Sadly I can’t really blog much on this book. When I was opening the ARC there was a note inside for us ARC readers that said we were not allowed to give details or summarize this book. To which, y’all know I do that for a decent chunk of the book before I cut off and make you read the extra delicious parts. So this blog is short and sweet as I can’t speak upon it much.

I will say I enjoyed this book. It is just shy of 500 pages but it felt like a nice quick read. I actually finished this is 2 days. This is a dark mafia romance and I recommend checking trigger warnings. It does talk about SA and its decently graphic on those parts. My heart broke reading these details but I fully understood where they came into play during the entire book. Obviously not justifying such an act in any way!

Author Siobhan Davis has such a beautiful writing style that grasped my attention from page one. I’m a huge fan of mafia romances but I absolutely loved watching how this romance turned out. From highs and lows, this relationship was put through the mill. But it was a relationship worth reading about. I did also like that she provided a diagram so we could understand the dynamic in this world. When there are so many character involved, its always nice to have a reference to fall back on.

This was definitely one of my favorite mafia books that I have read recently!!!
