Darling….. we love a dark fantasy type of girl over here. So to see her sexual fantasy was not just something tame, where is my fan? This FMC was top notch and I absolutely loved how fierce she was the entire time. Then let’s add in the MMC is a massive “she’s mine” type man. Perfection! This dynamic is wonderful. Oh did I forget to say she’s a plus size FMC and the MMC throws her around like she weighs nothing? Yea bestie, we in for a treat! 

This story starts out with the FMC having a goal to take down the criminals in her area. She has the perfect case against the Irish Mafia to get one of their guys in jail for a decent chunk of time. That is until her boss forces her to drop the case. Little does she know this would be the start of her relationship with the MMC. The MMC ends up following the FMC and goes home with her to have a good time. Well the FMC was a virgin. Due to this fact the MMC becomes absolutely obsessed with her even more than he already was and decides that she is in fact his. 

Our FMC is a curvaceous woman that hears about her curves in the worst ways. She hasn’t met someone willing to love her body enough to even get to know her. So when the MMC is all about her and says “mine” she obviously is hesitant and thinks this isn’t true. The FMC ends up trying to find a good time in a different way. Little does she know the MMC will be working to make sure she only sees him and no one else.

So what happens when the MMC and FMC end up working together on a case that will potentially boost her career? OH there is a lot that happens. The drama that comes with the last 2ish hours of the book is absolutely crazy! This strong FMC learns that she actually has someone that will fight for her and rally behind her in her time of need. When things start looking dire the MMC will end up making sure she is taken care of. Two strong MC’s come together and create the most amazing love story. 

Author Deborah Garland is at it again with her smutty writing skills! This book is heavy smut (y’all, the fantasies. You’ll understand then) but delicious plot too. Once again she hit it out of the park with the narrators for this book. It felt like they truly added to her book and brought it to life. I loved how there was a curvy MC and this was a fully obsessive man after his woman. 

This was an absolutely delicious audiobook ARC. I know you have a lot to do around the house and for life but make sure you give this one a listen. Do the house work while listening. Take a moment for yourself! This was definitely one that I was making comments and reacting in real time. Thankfully no one was around to see my reactions. I definitely shouted one or two of them!
