Oh I will be thinking about this book for a little while. I’m also most likely going to reread this one soon! 10/10 I will be recommending to everyone to read this book. Let’s dive in to my thinking.

I was hooked into this book by the second chapter. The first chapter left me puzzled and excited to see what else was going to happen for the MMC. Then we get to when the FMC and MMC meet…. Y’all I was busting up. I could picture the entire scene in my head and it was down right perfection. How is that going to be the way you meet and some how connect? Yet, it worked for them both just fine!

Fast forward to the MMC connecting the dots on who the FMC was and this is where his “revenge’ started. But can we really call it revenge when he falls madly in love with the girl with in a few minutes. We could see the writing on the wall, this dude was head over heels for the girl.

The FMC, my heart went out to her because she really did everything she thought she needed to do to get her fathers attention and to be the future of the family company. Yet, her father didn’t see this and truly didn’t care so he didn’t allow her any form of work. So instead the FMC started living life and thats where I was rooting for her the entire time. I love to see the FMC take matters into her own hands and push against what she is told to be like. She became her own person and blossomed beautifully.

As the book continued, I felt the heartache, the comedy and the good times. The laugh’s through this whole book were endless. The heartache was strong but the good times followed.

I think the author, Kate Crew, did a lovely job writing this book. It kept my attention during the entire read. The comedy/banter was through out the entire book. The spice to plot ratio was absolutely perfect and the spice alone was delicious! A little adventurous and a little safe, we like a variety with spice! This book was definitely one that I could read within a day just because of how the book continued to flow, caught my attention and truly made you excited to see how it would turn out. The ending of the book was better than I could have imagined!!! Absolutely loved this book!
